Rescue Training

(L) "Rescue Mat" is used mainly by CABA crew inside a burning or smoke filled building. It requires less manual handling, with more secure and faster retrieval of unconscious or injured patient than previous lift methods.   (R) Crew lifts and manoeuvres a "Stokes Litter". Used for difficult terrain and team extrications.
     

"Operation Edge"

"Operation Edge". A full sized, multi-agency simulated bus crash, was lead by Norton Summit CFS, and the Incident Management Team (IMT) was staffed by officers from East Torrens Group.   "Operation Edge". Norton Summit 34P arrives on the scene. The scenario was setup as  the bus having rolled over the cliff at the quarry with passengers on board.
